Through contributions, grants, and proceeds from our annual fundraising event,

as well as, partnerships with local organizations, the foundation have:

  • Awarded $60,000 in scholarships to high school seniors of Charleston County
  • Provided $34,000 in funding to support community program which includes the Emerging Young Leaders Program ( program which is designed to cultivate the skills and talents of middle school girls with potential for becoming leaders within the community)
  • Provided over 3,000 bags of school supplies to students attending the City of Charleston First Day of School Festival
  • Provided opportunity for Charleston County students to attend cultural events such as the Charleston Christmas concert 
  • Provided funding through a grant for financial literacy programs at James Simons and Charleston Progressive Elementary Schools
  • Provided materials and support for implementation of Financial Economic sessions for the Upward Bound Program at the College of Charleston
